Principal Engineer
Daniel Talbot (Dan) has recently joined Integrated Technologies, Inc. (ITI), after working directly with ITI for Honeywell International, Inc. on a major Design-Build renovation project at the Rock Island Arsenal. His areas of responsibility include strategic planning and oversight of ITI’s overall project delivery. His other areas of responsibility include key client support and project management, and he provides conceptual and detailed engineering support on select projects. Dan currently leads overall project delivery of ESPC projects, including design-build projects at Rock Island Arsenal and Tinker AFB, valued at over $30M.
Dan’s expertise includes construction, operations, engineering, quality management, Lean methodology, and leading or participating on cross functional project teams. He is highly capable in large project management, strategy creation, financial control, and direct customer relationship development.
Dan has a wide range of project and industry experience. He has served as project manager for Honeywell International, Inc., directing installation, schedule, final engineering delivery activities, design approval, budget, and progress reporting on a large industrial plant process automation upgrade for Army COE/Joint Military Manufacturing Technologies. He served as Project Director for a large-scale process upgrade of a chemical plant, including field supervision of construction and management of construction contracts. He has worked as a private industry consultant hired directly by shareholder groups or private accounting firms to run small companies under duress and provide leadership, direct supplier customer interface, financial analysis, and project management. And finally, he served as quality manager, global sales manager, and R&D manager at Eastman Kodak Company.
Dan is a professional Mechanical engineer, holding a BESc in Mechanical Engineering and Business. He also holds Masters in International Management Development. He is a Six Sigma Management Black Belt and, in the past, held Statistics and Quality Engineer certification from ASQC.
