William Shively (Bill) joined Integrated Technologies, Inc. (ITI) in 2015; however, he has also worked with most of ITI’s senior staff close to 30 years. His areas of responsibility include strategic planning and oversight of ITI’s overall project delivery. His other areas of responsibility include new business development, key client support and project management, and he provides conceptual and detailed engineering support on select projects.
Bill’s expertise includes surface finishing, automation, process engineering, water and wastewater treatment, chemical and hazardous waste treatment, solution rejuvenation, process safety management, pilot testing and field demonstration testing, waste analyses, permitting and regulation, and process chemistry.
Bill has a wide range of large and small project experience, serving as technical director, project delivery director, senior project manager, senior process engineer, project engineer, principal technologist and design manager at CH2M Hill. He has managed the design, construction, and operation of facilities for clients in the aerospace, chemicals, electronics, metal fabrication and finishing, mining, oil and gas, and manufacturing industries. He served as the northeast regional design manager for five years at a midsized consulting firm and spent 20 years working at CH2M HILL in a variety of technical and management roles. He has managed and delivered projects using EPC and traditional design-bid-build methods.
Bill has authored papers and presented on wastewater treatment processes and hazardous waste treatment. He is an active member of the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE), and the Water Environment Federation. Bill is a registered Professional Engineer in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and his MS in Civil Engineering from University of New Hampshire.
