Integrated Technologies, Inc. (ITI) designs and design-builds ventilation systems to protect operators from exposure to hazard chemicals, protect plant and equipment from exposure to corrosive mists and fumes, and manage the energy costs of industrial ventilation systems.
Our ventilation system designs start at the process line, with a hazard assessment and a determination of recommended hood design (pull, pull-pull, and push-pull) and required ventilation rates based on ACGIH standards as well as our own experience. It is critical to design not for only recommended ventilation rates but also proper hood slot velocities, push air velocities, and solution freeboard. Furthermore, consideration of proper make-up air system design is critical for effective mist and fume capture efficiency and the overall plant air balance.
System designs can include partial or complete process line enclosure, automated hoist enclosures, and/or automated tank covers. Ventilation systems can be segregated for effective management of chrome bearing, cyanide bearing, NOx, acid, strong base mists and humidity or can be integrated for optimum energy management when process tank ventilation is variable. Scrubber designs include wet and dry systems.
