The ability to provide on-site services during construction adds an extra measure of control to any construction project. Effective construction administration is ultimately about managing project logistics, resources, cost, risk, change, safety, and quality. Our work scope normally includes development of detailed project, safety, and quality management plans that document project requirements and procedures.
As the project owner’s representative, we maintain construction documents and assure contractor compliance with project plans and specifications. Our managers make sure the entire construction team is communicating effectively and all stakeholders are adequately represented in decision making.
Services available during the construction phase of a project can include site visits to observe progress and quality of construction, contract conformance, shop drawing review, verification of work completed, as-built drawing control, review and consultation on contractors’ requests for payments, and issuance of certificate of substantial completion. Fabrication Oversight & Inspections
ITI can support qualification of fabricators and provide fabrication oversight and inspections to assure compliance with drawings and specifications and monitor the construction schedule.
Modularization & Factory Acceptance
Modularization of equipment can improve product quality and reduce project schedule delays and total project cost. Factory modularization also allows for substantial testing of equipment prior to shipping equipment to the construction site for installation and allows for any required corrective actions at the factory. ITI can support factory testing and acceptance of modularized equipment.
On-site Construction Management
ITI can support our clients’ construction projects with an experienced on-site Construction Manager and support staff who will help manage project logistics, client resources, suppliers, requested changes, project schedule, and budgets. Our services also include Site Safety and Quality Management.
